- The qualifying rounds will be played from September 12th to September 27th, 2008 daily from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The fee is 25 € per qualifying round. You may register at the cash desk on the lower floor. You will receive a personal player code to help you keep track of your position on the ranking list. When registering you will also receive two Match Play-tickets for the price of one (25 €) to get you started! From then on you may purchase your tournament chips directly at the table
- The qualification rounds will be played non stop and there is a maximum of seven players per round. You may participate in as many rounds as you wish. Each round consists of 21 hands. After each round the points will be calculated and registered. The total points of the players and the ranking list will be displayed in the casino
- The player with the top result of the evening (in one qualifying round) will receive bonus points. The bonus is 10 % of the best result, the maximum being 500 points
- The three best results combined will determine the total points of each player. You may receive your total points during one and the same evening or by playing on separate days. The possible bonus points will be included. For example; a player takes part in six qualification rounds and receives the following points: 3,500 points, 2,100 points, 500 points, 4,720 points (which happens to be the top result of the evening, and gives the player a 10 % bonus = 472 points), 355 points, and 3,100 points. The top three results, i.e. 4,720 + 3,500 + 3,100 + the bonus points 472 will add up to 11,792 points. These are the player’s total points
- The 14 best players will qualify for the Finnish Championship Final on October 11th, 2008 The final can be reached only through the qualification stage
- There are no rebuys in the qualification rounds. Once you run out of chips you will be eliminated, and may continue only by taking part in a new round
- The seating arrangement will be determined by drawing lots. Seats may not be changed after the draw
- By paying the fee of 25 € you will receive tournament chips to the value of 500 points. All tournament chips must remain in full view of the dealer and other players at all times. Chips may not be exchanged, borrowed or loaned between players
- Each round will consist of 21 hands and the player has to participate in each hand. If a player has less than the minimum bet remaining, the player will automatically be eliminated from play
- All bets must be in multiples of 10 with a minimum bet of 10 points, and a maximum bet of 500 points
- Each player will play one box only
- Doubling, splitting and insurance are in accordance with the Black Jack rules of Grand Casino Helsinki. The bonus game “Pefect Pairs” is not in play.
The 14 best players from the qualifications will compete for the Finnish Championship and for a seat in the international Final in Tallinn, Estonia. There is no participation fee, but there is a possibility to make 2 rebuys per round (i.e. a maximum of 8 rebuys), 100 € each. All 14 players will take part in the first two rounds. From there, the seven best players will continue into the third and the fourth round. The total points from rounds three and four will determine the outcome of the tournament and the winner of 5,000 €. All seven players from the last two rounds will continue to the Baltic Sea Final in Tallinn. Tickets and accommodation will be covered by Grand Casino Helsinki.

3. BALTIC SEA BLACK JACK TOURNAMENT FINAL 25.10.2008
The seven best players from the Finnish Championship will take part in the international final in Tallinn. There is no tournament fee, but rebuys are possible; maximum 10 rebuys (3 + 3 + 2 + 2) at 100 € each. There will be an individual competition and a team competition. The Finnish team will be playing against the national teams of Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Poland and Germany. Each team consists of 7 players. All 42 players will take part in the first two rounds. From there the 14 best players will move on to round three. The final round will be played at one table with seven players.
The prizes for the individual competition are as follows:

The prize for the national team is 10,500 €, i.e. 1,500 € per team member. The national team’s result is the total points won by all members during the four rounds.
Limitations:
- The personnel of participating casinos cannot take part in the Baltic Sea Final.
- A player can only represent one country in the Final.
- The age limit to Estonian casinos is 21 years. This limit also applies to the Baltic Sea Tournament.
- A player cannot transfer his/her right to participate to another person.
- Should a qualified player not be able to participate in the Finnish
- Championship Final or in the Baltic Sea Final, Grand Casino Helsinki will decide on a possible replacement.
