02.02.09 - Poker ranking 2008
The traditional Poker Ranking Final was played for the 15th time at Grand Casino Helsinki. On January 31st the eight best players from the 2008 weekly tournaments participated. Five of them were in the finals for the first time.
In this tournament four different types of poker was played: 7 card stud Limit, Sökö (traditional Finnish 5 stud), Omaha Pot Limit and Texas No Limit. After a five hour game the winner was announced as Sami Pulliainen won Dave Jakobson with his pairs of 7.
