Casino General Rules
The responsibilities, rights, limitations and operational bases of casino operations are enacted in the Lotteries Act and RAY’s gaming license. Finland’s Ministry of the Interior is responsible for monitoring the conduct of casino operations.
The goal of Casino General Rules is to promote security, public order and the privacy and regulation of gaming. Casino General Rules are formulated in accordance with the general enactments concerning gaming operations. Casino General Rules and rules of individual games are available at the reception.
Customership
By registering as a casino customer, a person visiting the casino is committed to following the general enactments concerning gaming operations, casino game rules and the Casino General Rules. A photographic record of each customer is stored along with their personal information. There is electronic surveillance in the casino premises. For security reasons all incoming phone calls are recorded.
The casino has a right to debar persons from entering the casino and to limit their gaming in accordance with § 15 of the Lotteries Act. Failure to follow the casino rules and directions given by the casino staff may lead to expulsion from the casino premises and cancellation of customership.
A valid casino card must be presented at the casino reception on entering the casino. The casino card is personal.
Customers are required to wear clothes appropriate for casino environment.
Gaming
Rules of slot machines and table games are ratified by the Ministry of the Interior of Finland.
Seats around slot machines and gaming tables are reserved for those engaging in gaming.
A casino customer may not do the following:
- Use technical devices such as calculators and computers while gaming
- Take notes concerning the game at hand in a card game table, with the exception of Punto Banco tables, where customers may take notes of winning hands (’punto’, ‘banco’ or ‘egalite’)
- Take photographs or other pictorial or audio recordings
- Use a mobile phone or other telecommunications equipment in gaming tables
The casino promotes responsible gaming. In case of suspected problem gaming, customers may contact the duty manager. Casino customers can request the casino to ban their entrance to the casino or limit the number of their visits. The ban or limitation will be in effect for a minimum 3 months and maximum 12 months.
