Poker variants

We offer four poker variants: Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Sökö (Scandinavian stud) and Seven Card Stud. Besides these we offer Dealer’s Choice, where players take turns in choosing the variant played in each hand.

Texas Hold´em
In Texas Hold’em players are dealt two hole cards faces down (initial deal), which is followed by a round of betting. Now three cards are dealt face up on the board (flop), which is again followed by a round of betting. After this, the fourth (turn) and fifth (river) cards dealt face up on the board (both followed by a round of betting).
Players form the best possible five-card poker hand using the five common cards on the board and the two hole cards in front of them. In the end (showdown), the best remaining five-card poker hand wins the pot.

Omaha
Omaha is otherwise similar to Texas Hold’em, except that the players are dealt four hole cards instead of two. Common cards (board) are dealt as in Texas Hold’em. In the showdown, players use two of their hole cards and three common cards to form a hand. The best such five-card poker hand remaining wins the pot.

Sökö (Scandinavian stud)
In Sökö players are dealt one card face down and one card face up, which is followed by a round of betting. After this, players are dealt further three cards face up, each card followed by a round of betting.
The best remaining poker hand wins the pot. In addition to normal poker hands, sökö features two four-card hands: four-card straight and four-card flush. They are ranked between pair and two pair (pair, four-card straight, four-card flush, two pair etc.).

Seven Card Stud
In Seven Card Stud, players are dealt two cards face down and one card face up, which is followed by a round of betting. After this, cards are dealt face up (followed by rounds of betting) until each player has two cards face down and four cards face up. The last card is dealt face down for each player, which is followed by the final round of betting. Player with the best poker hand wins the pot.

Dealer´s Choice
Dealer’s Choice is a game where players take turns in choosing the poker variant (from the four alternatives above) played in each hand.
